  • Thanks MakaylamayBA for the detailed and very well formatted edit request you made to our Green New Deal article.

It was much longer request than we'd normally work with using the "Extended-confirmed-protected edit request" system. I can see that a lot of effort had been put in to make the writing encyclopaedic. But while very well written, the tone was still a little more essay like than we'd normally have here on Wikipedia.

That said, if you were to add your new environmental justice section yourself, I'd not revert it, and there would be a chance no one else would either. To become "Extended-confirmed" , and so able to edit the article directly you need to make 500 edits here. As these can be really minor edits like just correcting a single letter typo, it might take you a lot less energy than you already spent making the proposed section to become Extended-confirmed.

If you don't think you'll have time for that though, please write here to let me know. Based on what you wrote, I think I could add a "Environmental justice" section to the article. It would be about only a quarter of the size as your suggestion, but it should be possible to get across much of your key points. FeydHuxtable (talk) 18:58, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
