December 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Cat12zu3. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Fernando (song), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --- Cat12zu3 (talk) 08:13, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! It was just my thoughts as in page of Shirly Bassey noticed she is oldest. She was 70 there, Cher was 72 when she made UK Singles Top 100.
I haven't ref sorry. MalvinLuisandy (talk) 00:10, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi MalvinLuisandy! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Fernando (song) that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. --- Cat12zu3 (talk) 08:13, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

(WP:NOTMINOR) that new info (instead of actual correction to misspelling, grammar, layout formatting error, punctuation etc) you had just added doesn't seemed to be minor edit. --- Cat12zu3 (talk) 08:13, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
(WP:CITE) also that new info have no source reference to back it up too, (is this (Cher is only artist to be active in the UK singles charts more than 52 years. Shirley Bassey is second.) is this true?) and would most likely be removed in near future --- Cat12zu3 (talk) 08:13, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I see! Thanks! MalvinLuisandy (talk) 00:11, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. But I didn't mark edit! Strange))) MalvinLuisandy (talk) 00:12, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

UK Top 200[edit]

I saw in discography of one famous singer Michael Buble many singles having places below Top 100 in UK Singles (with links!). Althouth as far I know official there always were only Top 100 singles!? Can make it for other singers? Example Cher have 0 singles below Top 100 in UK. But may be some songs were there? MalvinLuisandy (talk) 00:07, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If I'm not wrong wikipedia is quite strict on WP:Notability on everything, especially for new pages, which is that subject/company/person have a considerable amount of coverage by independent media/sources/book outside of that subject/company/person themselves that would made them worthy of attention. I had also seen WP:RSPSS, WP:NMUSIC, WP:NSONG, WP:COVERSONG, WP:ALBUM/SOURCE, if the new song (in new page) and new covered song (both in new page and in existing original song page) is not notable (not worthy of attention/notice) then most likely it would be removed by senior editors ....and if statement is not cited at all with reliable independent source WP:CITE, WP:RS, WP:NEEDCITE, it would defintely be removed. --- Cat12zu3 (talk) 07:37, 14 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

December 2023: Please source chart positions[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Cher singles discography, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Ss112 20:53, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I just think sources are in other songs. I see. MalvinLuisandy (talk) 14:30, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
