Rahul Bhandari[edit]

Hello. Thank you for your message.

Speedy deletion criterion G11 applies when an article is "exclusively promotional and would need to be fundamentally rewritten to become encyclopedic". In the opinion of several editors, including me, the article about Rahul Bhandari fell into this category.

Please note that this is unrelated to OTRS, which has to do with the permission to use material subject to copyright.

If you'd like, I can restore the deleted article as a "subpage" in your "userspace", where you can work on making it less promotional and more neutral. However, I recommend that you start a new article based on what independent reliable sources have written about Mr. Bhandari.

Please let me know how you'd like to proceed. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 01:04, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I've restored the article to User:Mangopr/Rahul Bhandari.
To see editors' concerns about the article, please read Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rahul Bhandari, where the article was nominated for deletion. The best solution is to find independent reliable sources and revise the article to reflect what those sources have written about Mr. Bhandari.
To move the article back to Rahul Bhandari, see the instructions at WP:Moving a page. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 01:34, 1 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As an editor who has worked on this article I wish to inform you that it is being discussed at AfD. Please feel free to stop by and comment. Hasteur (talk) 15:56, 3 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I am not recommending undeletion, but redeletion. At the moment the article does not have enough sources to pass our notability guidelines. Although it is much improved compared to the original, speedy-deleted version it still does not seem to pass the GNG. Also, you should be careful not to contact every editor who voted at the AfD to ask them to reconsider; it may be considered canvassing, which is not allowed. Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 06:14, 5 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
