Your request to Robert McClenon

[edit]

I just happened to see your request on Robert McClenon's page. I think Robert hasn't been around for quite a while, so he might not see this at all. But anyway, from how you describe your problem, maybe what you need is not so much an advocate but a mediator? That is, not so much someone who systematically represents your side, but a neutral third party that helps both you and the other side to work it out together? For this kind of approach, the Wikipedia:Mediation cabal might be better. Have you thought about asking them? It doesn't really seem to be such a big bad dispute anyway, or is it? (Oh, if you're going to say yes, wait till you see the real bad ones elsewhere in Wikipedia... ;-) Fut.Perf. 19:17, 12 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
