Edit summaries

[edit]

Hi, can I ask why so many of your edit summaries say "Added in use template", and indeed why are you adding in use templates for so many articles? -Kj cheetham (talk) 11:08, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Kj cheetham Because adding (In use template) will let your edit inactive and undeleted for a while. MarvinQualifier (talk) 11:14, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
MarvinQualifier That's not true at all regarding deletion. Those articles are in mainspace and there is no requirement for regular editing. You might be thinking of draftspace where articles may be deleted after 6 months with no edits. Please ONLY add those tags to articles you are doing MAJOR changes to over a short period of time, as per WP:INUSE. If you are not intending to do major changes to those specific articles, please remove the tags. Thank you. -Kj cheetham (talk) 11:16, 16 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
