Hi there! I just stumbled across your draft article when I was about to create a quick stub article for this artist, and it looks as if you're doing a fabulous job. I've done a bit of copyediting on your draft, and happy to come back and do some more another day, but it looks very close to acceptance to me (although I am not an official new page reviewer). You might notice I've made a few stylistic changes, which you could incorporate through the rest of the article in the meantime - such as punctuation always comes before citations (MOS:CITEPUNCT). Also (a developing convention on the WP Australia project), capital letters for Indigenous and Aboriginal Australians, and try to be as specific as possible with the link - i.e. use what the person's preference is in the first instance, and next be as specific as possible (does the link refer to issues/things/people which include both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, or specifically one or the other?). Another thing, somewhat personal preference but I know I'm not alone, I think it's preferable to use ref name relating to the source, such as surname or website name, with date if useful e.g. jones, smh2008, or whatever (and btw you only need those pesky quotes around the name if there's a space in the ref name). It makes it much easier as the article grows, to relate which citation relates to which source! Anyway, good luck and happy editing. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 08:14, 24 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
