Thanks for improving Wikipedia by making copyedits to articles. You might be interested to know that the Guild of Copy Editors is running a drive this month; maybe you'd like to get involved?

Your edits have generally improved the articles, but I wanted to bring one thing to your attention while I'm here: Wikipedia does not enforce a consistent style across all articles where multiple styles are correct English, so it's seen as inconsiderate to the editors who have done the work of creating the cited content of an article when their established style is changed. For example, at Mao Renfeng I see you've changed dates in the article from DMY format to MDY format with no reason (and missed the dates in the infobox, creating an inconsistency in formatting). See MOS:DATEVAR for this rule. Also at Zhao (state) I see you've removed serial commas, which are also a stylistic variant that should be retained (see MOS:VAR). Again, thank you for your edits, which have been improvements overall, but please familiarise yourself with relevant sections of the Manual of Style as a consideration to others. Blessings, Folly Mox (talk) 09:27, 6 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Folly Mox Thank you for the recommendation, I'll take those things into consideration in the future. MayonnaisePapillon (talk) 16:19, 6 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
