Welcome![edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Andrew T. Lincoln[edit]

Hello, and thank you for expanding Andrew T. Lincoln. However, your additions there needed a fair bit of cleanup. Before you add anything else, I would ask that you take a look at the Manual of Style, if you haven't already, particularly with regard to section headers and capitalization. The other issues with your edit were a ton of external links appearing in the text (generally discouraged), and broken formatting due to a truncated citation. Please use the preview button when editing, to check whether your pending changes will damage the page. This will also let you see whether you've created unnecessary redlinks, such as Wycliffe College, University of Toronto, versus the correct link, Wycliffe College, Toronto.

I've fixed these errors (you can see my changes here), but going forward, it's best for everyone if your submitted work is as correct as possible. If I can help with anything, just let me know. Thanks, Jessicapierce (talk) 18:33, 18 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please put your citations after punctuation, not before.
Sentence.<citation>
rather than
Sentence<citation>.
This would save other editors the cleanup work. Thanks, Jessicapierce (talk) 18:44, 19 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
