Speedy deletion nomination of Capricorn FM
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Capricorn FM, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Crusio (talk) 17:21, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
- Hi Meli Ncube, I've moved this to Wikipedia:Article Incubator/Capricorn FM for you. From here the article may be worked on to meet inclusion/content criteria. The article will need to meet inclusion/content criteria, and to address issues raised during the deletion process before returning to mainspace. If you need help, ask me on my talk page. Otelemuyen (talk) 23:00, 10 April 2011 (UTC).
- To clarify; the standard required is to show there are multiple reliable sources (newspapers, books, that sort of thing) covering Capricorn FM, or just verifying that what is written there is true. If you need any help finding them or formatting the references, just give me or Otelmuyen a poke. Ironholds (talk) 23:31, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four halfwidth tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 10:06, 11 April 2011 (UTC)

Re-Capricorn FM
[edit]Hello Meli Ncube, I've made some changes to the article but would suggest you fill in the gaps where necessary. My opinion is that you should be looking to add:
- A list of presenters here: Overview
- Expand on History
- Introduce into the article a representive timetable of aired programes
- Find a suitable logo (please do not upload any logo without my consent, apart from the fact that image files are not meant for incubator space, all media content on Wikipedia has to pass through copyright procedure.) and post the external link to your findings on my talk page, i will check if it complies or not and if i cant be sure will seek Wikimedia Commons opinion (Wikimedia Commons itself does not allow fair use or uploads under non-free licenses, including licenses which restrict commercial use of materials or disallow derivative works. Licenses that are acceptable include the GNU Free Documentation License, Creative Commons Attribution and Attribution/ShareAlike licenses). For more information on the above check Wikimedia Commons
- Who is(are) the owner of the radio station? This would be also an important piece of information you might want to include here: Ownership.
I'm not going to be online for a few days, when i get back will continue from where you have reached. Meanwhile, if you get stuck message me (or send me an email); i will still be able to respond if not for a minute or two. Goodluck and happy editing! Otelemuyen (talk) 16:12, 12 April 2011 (UTC).
