You've possibly got the letter of the law on your side in removing an uncited opinion, but why would you bother, when it's one almost universally held by the people who actually live in Frenchs Forest, and is presented as opinion, not fact? Do you personally dispute that it's problematic for the private bus company to have their own stops, which the government buses are not allowed to use? Have you even been to the place, or caught a bus there, or ever spoken to anyone who has? How was that page made better, or more accurate by your action?

Hi! I welcome comments and suggestions.

READ THIS FIRST: You may place valid comments here. However, I will ignore any comments from anonymous identities. Also note that if you place uncivil comments, they may be retained for a later date as evidence.

I spent ages last night trying to improve the Gosford site to find its been deleted. For starters the introduction sounds ridiculous- "Gosford is the main city of the Central Coast of New South Wales, located approximately 50 km north of the Sydney Central Business District (CBD) as the crow flies, but somewhat further by road due to the shape of the coastline". Surely that can be re-worded. Gosford is one of the largest cities in NSW and it has a very poor Wikipedia site that I was trying to improve. Talking about the ailing CBD is not my point of view, it is the belief of the entire community. Certainly I would be more qualified to make statements about Gosford, as I actually live here. It is a major issue here which is well publicised in the media. Also, the revitalisation plans are on the Gosford City website. It wasn't written that they were being constructed or anything, simply that they were proposed. It would be far more appreciated that instead of deleting the information that was put on this page to give people more accurate information on Gosford, make suggestions on how it can be improved, or that references and sources should be added.

{{unblock|Not sure why am I blocked, I reported the 3R violation and the spam edits by the anon user 122.104.185.247 (talk · contribs) which were identical to a single purpose account Bondibeachbabes (talk · contribs) yesterday (I didn't report them as the spamming stopped), the edits could clearly construed as vandalism as clearly aiming to spam an article, please check the information they were trying to insert, it is clear spam. I thought a better solution would be to apply semi protection to the page in question.}}

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

My mistake, I did not realise that removing spam has been made exempt from 3RR

I'm well aware of the guidelines - you don't have to remind me. JRG (talk) 06:19, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Michelle, Bondi Beach Babes is a part of Bondi Beach. No offence but as Wikipedia has informed you, you should not have changed the information. You do not live on Bondi Beach, and would no longer know what is there. You have no authority to make these changes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bondibeachbabes (talkcontribs) 23:22, 11 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I see. But if australians are creating their own wiki nodes and are linking to it, that is then ok, right? User:Drrho (talk)

Hi Michelle, I have responded to your comment here. Cheers, Mattinbgn\talk 00:39, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RMIT

Michelle, firstly I understand and respect your edits regarding the RMIT article. However, I do believe some of the content you removed is valid, even if it's not written in the correct (non-advertorial/unbias) language. As opposed to deleting it completely, perhaps rewording it in an appropriate language may be a better option for all. Also, one thing I don't understand is you reworking of the articles headings. I'm not a seasoned Wikipedian, so I'm curious as to why they were changed, since the edits regarding them weren't explained. Thanks! AshGreen (talk) 02:17, 07 May 2008 (AEST)

Thanks

Hi Michelle. Thanks for your reply and advice. I've edited the RMIT article with appropriate language, and I hope it's in accordance. If not, please advise me so, since I am eager to get it right for future articles. AshGreen (talk) 12:12, 07 May 2008 (AEST)

Costa

You should not have reverted my edit and then given a misleading reason on it. Even if it was Scruby saying something "wrong" it is a reference. But in this case it is a direct quote from a Spike column which was written after discussions with Costa's own spin doctor errr... spokesperson. Have you got any citable source for Costa commuting in a Prius? If so let's have it. Albatross2147 (talk) 05:13, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The type of car he drives is probably relevant in view of his views on climate change. Albatross2147 (talk) 05:15, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I know you did not say he drives a Prius. I was being F.A.C.E.T.I.O.U.S.. BTW I checked and cannot see where I have said anyone needs to be civil on my talk page. I usually ignore everyone equally. Albatross2147 (talk) 05:30, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Just reread the MC article. In the early life section it says In 1979, Costa dropped out of politics and began work.... This doesn't work sort of. Have you any knowledge of his bio? Albatross2147 (talk) 01:44, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

thanks
