[edit]Lake Moeris Article
The lead of the article has been properly updated to reflect the new content added with extensive sections summarizing the historical and ecological record of Lake Moeris. The introductory sentence clearly describes the articles topic, and the main sections of the article are prefaced well in the lead. Currently, the lead contains a summary of the ecological conditions of the lake which has not yet been included in the article, but that section has been marked as planned and in the works. The lead of the article is concise while still offering a large amount of information.
The main content of the article has been expanded upon greatly with relevant and up-to-date information, especially in the previously scant and unsegmented history section of the article. Any of the missing sections that could be noted upon have already been marked as planned. The content is presented in a neutral manner with no visible biases and does not seem to be attempting to sway the reader toward a certain point of view. The article pulls from a large variety of reputable and relevant sources on the topic with a healthy mix of current and historical sources. The article is organized well and in an order that makes sense to read, and there were no grammatical or spelling errors that I could catch. The image already added into the article as well as those that are planned to be added seem to be relevant to the topic and provide look into how Lake Moeris looks in the modern day. The image of the ruins of one of the Pedestals of Biahmu is placed in a slightly awkward position due to its proximity to the map of ancient Lake Moeris and the scant amount of text currently around.
Overall, the content added to the article has greatly improved the quality as well as the readability of the article. The history section has benefitted the most so far due to the new sections and further depth in which the topic is delved into. Great job overall. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Piesu123 (talk • contribs) 06:39, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
