Self-published sources

[edit]

Hi! I noticed that you added a link to laststandonzombieisland.com to the article on Soviet women during WWII. Self-published sources like this one aren't seen as reliable sources on Wikipedia because they tend to undergo little to no editorial oversight, making it extremely difficult to sometimes even impossible for them to be seen as a reliable source on Wikipedia. In order to be usable we'd have to be able to show where his work with the blog is routinely cited as a reliable source in places like academic textbooks, journals, and the like. As such, I've marked the source as unreliable and it will need to be replaced. It's an interesting site, but Wikipedia is fairly strict about its sourcing guidelines.
