Your opinion of AI on Wikipedia?
[edit]Hi @Mister.bingham:
It looks like you’ve been editing on Wikipedia for a while. Welcome! I’m a researcher working on Wikipedia algorithms and artificial intelligences (AIs). Maybe it seems a little random to hear from someone like me…if you’ve only been here for a little while, why would we care about your opinion?
You may or may not be aware of them, but the algorithms that operate on Wikipedia affect new editors like you in very important ways. Even if you’ve only made a few edits, we really need to understand how you feel about your initial experiences -- good or bad -- so that we can make sure that the AIs we build in the future do what users like you want them to do.
Would you consider talking with me briefly about AI on Wikipedia? I will send you a $15 Amazon gift card to say thanks. Reply to this message here or send me an email at smit3694@umn.edu and I can share more info and plan a time to connect.

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message
[edit]Disambiguation link notification for January 6
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Terror in the Haunted House, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gorgo. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
