- I was wondering the difference between the user page sandbox and the talk page sandbox. I'm supposed to post in my sandbox for an English assignment, but it does not allow me to type in the user page sandbox, only the talk sandbox. I just want to make sure I am doing the right thing before I submit my work.
- When we refer to your 'sandbox', we usually mean User:Mitchunk13/sandbox where you can put your draft. Alternately you can create a new page like User:Mitchunk13/My article name and leave your sandbox for fiddling with formatting or experimenting with templates. You can learn about this in the Sandboxes and Mainspace training linked in your course.
- The talk page for your sandbox is where comments about it might go (peer reviews from your classmates, if you're doing those). It's not the place for the draft itself. If you're thinking about adding to an existing article, that article's talk page is also not the place. You could leave comments or ask questions about the artlcle on the talk page; however many articles don't have active talk pages. Did that answer your question? - When I try to post in my user sandbox all it says is request feedback it doesn't actually allow me to post anything in there so I had to post it in the talk page of my sandbox. Is there a way to fix this.
- If you click the Edit button, you can remove that template, which was added to your sandbox to help identify its purpose. Or (more commonly), you can start editing directly below the template (above it is fine too). Keep playing around the page, you'll get the hang of it. 16:50, 17 February 2016 (UTC)
