If you doubt the math of the 0.999... article (which is well-established), there's a separate arguments page for that very purpose. I'm not sure I understand your remarks about remainder and quotient correctly; maybe you could explain them there in more detail. Huon (talk) 03:00, 23 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved your comments at the arguments page to the bottom; you had inserted them into the middle of another person's two-year-old comments. That not only made your (and the other person's) comments difficult to read, it even made yours difficult to find in the first place. Huon (talk) 01:16, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
