Hi. Wikipedia is not the place to publicize the latest research papers. Many biomedical research results cannot be repeated and it is important that the results be reviewed and put in context by reliable independent reviewers before they are mentioned in Wikipedia. Per WP:MEDRS, secondary sources (review articles) are generally needed to support medical claims. This is especially true of highly controversial topics such as irisin. The paper you have added has already been removed twice (see article talk). Please discuss this there before re-adding this material. Thank you. Boghog (talk) 16:06, 18 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again. I would like to know why you think that PNAS journal is an unreliable medical source It is not that PNAS per se is an unreliable medical source, it is that all publication, regardless of where they are published (Nature, Science, Cell, etc.) are all unreliable if they are primary sources. Wikipedia prefers secondary sources. This is especially true of controversial medical topics such as FNDC5 because a startlingly high percentage of the results of primary studies cannot be reproduced. Please take the time to read WP:MEDRS. Thank you. Boghog (talk) 16:39, 19 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your explanation, I'm new on wikipedia. Feel free to delete my whole add about FNDC5 and bone, if it is not in accordance to wiki laws that you know better than me. Thanks.

Welcome!
