Dialogic learning
[edit]I don't know how this is done, but "Dialogic learning" should be deleted. The author is completely misinformed about the scholarly traditions of Bakhtin's dialogism, ca. 1918, and confuses the category with Socractic dialogue. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mnystrand (talk • contribs) 22:36, 10 March 2013 (UTC)
- Hello Mnystrand! Talk:Dialogic learning#Proposed changes is the right way to seek consensus through discussion, so you're already on the right path. However, deletion should not be sought if the article can be fixed: we should instead improve it by rewriting (thus fixing) the irrelevant sections. Your previous efforts are misunderstood as vandalism by a bot, and it was written like an essay (sentences like "Yet can we validly claim that some instruction is more dialogic than others? After all, isn't the fundamental premise of dialogism that all language is dialogic, even discourse we might be inclined to call monologic?" do not have an encyclopedic tone). So rather than changing the whole article at once, try to fix the misrepresented sentences and thus gradually fix the article. You might want to read Wikipedia:FIXTHEPROBLEM, Wikipedia:INCITE, Wikipedia:TONE, Wikipedia:OR and Wikipedia:Be bold. Feel free to ask any questions you might have here or at Wikipedia:Teahouse/Questions. (at the end of your comments on talk pages, simply type four tildes (~), like this: ~~~~ to sign them. I will now use four tildes to sign this comment:) Nimuaq (talk) 23:38, 10 March 2013 (UTC)
