Hi Moaia Your answer was so definitive that I would like to see where you found the stated wikipedia practice. I could not find it but am aware that in the age of neutral gender that your statement of biographical articles not needing it may be misguided. I am happy to keep your reverted edit should you find the recommendation. Furthermore I would question why wikidata uses the sex or gender statement on all biographies including Nick Brett (Q19560140) if they do not want it in the article. Read any biographical article on Wikipedia, or indeed in any published source, and you will find that stating the subject's gender in the first sentence is simply not done. This is so obvious that it is probably not even written down anywhere. Moaia (talk) 14:55, 2 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
MOS:OPENPARABIO does not explicitly state that this is not done but does not list gender as something that should be given in the first paragraph of a biography. Moaia (talk) 15:05, 2 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for February 5[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2017–18 United States political sexual scandals, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Republican Party (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
