ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Fixing archiving on this talk page

Hey, I noticed your archiving has some issues. I've fixed one of the issues with {{User:MiszaBot/config}}, but I have some suggestions for the others.

1. You should move User talk:ModdiWX/Archive 17 to User talk:ModdiWX/Archive 2 and move User talk:ModdiWX/Archive 18 to User talk:ModdiWX/Archive 3

   1a. Put {{db-u1}} on the redirects after moving (to reduce confusion, and so the archives page titles are free for the future)

2. Change the | counter=18 to | counter=3 inside {{User:MiszaBot/config}} so the bot will update where it archives talk pages.
3. Add {{Unsigned|Skarmory|03:15, 19 March 2022}} to the bottom of the welcome message so it can be archived. If you want, you can manually move it to the top of User talk:ModdiWX/Archive 1.
4. As a matter of style, you can delete {{archives}} from the top of the page, since the talk page header contains archive links.

To explain a bit further, the reason why have an issue is probably because you copied the {{User:MiszaBot/config}} from somewhere else but didn't change |counter=, so now the archives have a big jump from archive 1 to archive 17. Retro (talk | contribs) 06:19, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
