Wikiproject article assessments

[edit]

Hey. For the wikiproject article assessments, just change the class rating on the talk page, don't put it in the omments section. If you do that then it doesn't register.--Wizardman 16:42, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, to second the above make sure you are placing the WikiProject Biography template on the top of the talk page, rather than on a new comments page. Thanks for your help, RHB Talk - Edits 20:34, 26 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of talk pages

[edit]

Hi, I notice you have added {{prod}} tags to a number of talk pages. To propose an article for deletion (I'm assuming that was your intent), you should add the {{prod}} tag at the top of the article itself, rather than to its talk page. Cheers, Black Falcon 02:11, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletions

[edit]

I am removing all your proposals to delete as the tags are all misplaced. In addition, in case you intended to put them on article pages, I can't see that you have given any arguments for why any of these pages should be deleted. The Wikipedia notability guidelines are not so simple that they can just be invoked without any interpretation or explanation. Pharamond 08:52, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of talk pages

[edit]

I am removing all your proposed deletions as they were put on subpages of article talk pages. Proposed deletion notices belong on the article pages themselves. In the future, please add them there. Thank you, Black Falcon 08:19, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reminder

[edit]

Please do not place templates on the /comment subpages, as you have done here. Improvement templates, such as {{wikify}} or {{expand}} belong on the main article page, while the {{WPBiography}} template should be placed on the talk page. That space is for comments about the article only. In addition, proposed deletion templates do not belong on talk pages - place them at the top of article pages to ensure they are not removed. Thanks again for your help, RHB Talk - Edits 18:30, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ditto

[edit]

I can only repeat what others have said above: please don't add PROD to the article talk pages. — RJH (talk) 20:08, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It might be a better idea if you refrained from nominating anything for deletion until you have a better grasp of our notability requirements. Every one of your proposals I've seen so far have been way off the mark. --kingboyk 22:10, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove {{Jazz-music-project}} from jazz articles

[edit]

Hi, you removed the {{Jazz-music-project}} template from Talk:Earl Hines. Please take care that you don't do that when editing jazz articles' talk pages. BNutzer 20:16, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted liableous material statement

[edit]

On this page, you stated that you deleted unsourced potentially liableous material per WP:BLP. However, I could not find any such change. If you desire to practice, please use Wikipedia:Sandbox. -- Jreferee 21:57, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not sign banner placements

[edit]

If you place a banner, it is not appropriate to post your signature as you did here. It is great that you are willing to help, but please ask someone to review your work every now and then since you just started with Wikipedia. It is taking several of us a significant amount of time to fix these repeating issues. -- Jreferee 22:15, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Article page tags

[edit]

The {{unreferenced}} tag should be placed on the article page, not the talk page as you did here. -- Jreferee 22:19, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The {{expand}} tag also should be placed on the article page, not the talk page as you did here. -- Jreferee 22:22, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Signing Category pages

[edit]

It is not appropriate to place your signature on a Category page as you did here if you do not add content. -- Jreferee 23:19, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comment page to the talk page

[edit]

Banners do not belong on the comment page to the talk page as you did here. -- Jreferee 23:22, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Discussion on other page

[edit]

There is a discussion regarding the above here. -- Jreferee 23:51, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
