Anestis Antoniadis is a professor of mathematics and statistics at Joseph Fourier University.
Academic biography
[edit]Master in Mathematics and Fundamental Applications, Université Scientifique et Médicale de Grenoble, 1972. Diploma of studies in Applied Mathematics (Option Statistics), Université Scientifique et Médicale de Grenoble, 1973. III cycle Doctorate in Applied Mathematics, Université Scientifique et Médicale de Grenoble, 1975. Assistant Professor and Associate Professor at the University of Saint-Etienne from 1976 to 1986. Ph.D. Abilitation at the Université Scientifique et Médicale de Grenoble, 1983 with the dissertation "Etude de certains problèmes de décision dans les structures statistiques Gaussiennes infinidimensionnelles" (supervisors Prof. René A. Carmona and Prof. Jean-Louis Soler[2]). Invited Professor at the University of California, Irvine from 1985 to 1987. Since 1986 Professor of Statistics at the University of Grenoble "J. Fourier". He has been the Ph.D. advisor of 13 doctoral students. Co-owner of 4 patents[3] on methods and apparata for medical applications (heart and sleep disorders).
