House of Commons rececnt edit of number of Labour MP's[edit]

Hi, it's BenBrownBoy here. I came across your recent edits regading the number of Labour MP's in the House (and the modification of the numbers of other party members) and was curious as to how you came across these numbers? I've checked externally and can find no mention of any changes recently; of course I may be wrong, so I've not reverted it right now. Hit me up! BenBrownBoy (Aye?) 18:12, 17 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, BenBrownBoy. The seat count was reduced from 200 to 199 after a Labour MP had the whip withdrawn. This was noted in a previous edit by someone else. However, an unregistered user reversed this edit. They may have been misled by the diagram image which has not been updated to 199. I've put it back to 199, which I believe to be the correct figure. This is backed up by other articles on Wikipedia recording party numbers. Thanks for your message, hope you are well. Mooreo.odm (talk) 18:41, 17 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello and thanks for the prompt response. I myself looked at the diagram image, but as you had made a number of edits for this page, I was under the (correct) impression that your edit was a correct one, but thought I'd ask. Best wishes, BenBrownBoy (Aye?) 20:35, 17 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
