[edit]Hello, I'm Sundayclose. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, List of mass shootings in the United States, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Sundayclose (talk) 21:44, 19 October 2020 (UTC)

[edit]@Motormanmark:, thank you for your recent contributions to Wikipedia. I just wanted to give you several pointers. First, you do not need to include a specific reference in the body of an article to which page of a book you are referencing (i.e. "Gayle is referenced on page 172 of the..."). Second, please do not add a new header to an article for a single sentence or two added. Finally, ensure that the information you are adding is not repeating something already there. Regards. Also, please keep in mind WP:Original research. You cannot call a document "highly influential" while referencing the document itself. Obviously, a book or a pamphlet cannot call itself highly influential. You would need to use a different reliable source for this. Display name 99 (talk) 14:08, 16 August 2021 (UTC)
