A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Mpmeradio, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages: user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you can indicate why the page is not blatant advertising, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to your user talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also edit this page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would help make it encyclopedic. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Mdann52 (talk) 13:50, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing, because this account has been used only for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to Wikipedia policy. Also, your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation, which is also against policy. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not a free advertising service.
What can I do now?

If you have no interest in writing about some other topic than your organization, group, company, or product, you will probably not be allowed to edit Wikipedia again. Consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

If you do intend to make useful contributions about some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} on your user talk page.
  • Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.

Please note that, in order for your request to have a reasonable chance of success, you must address the conflict of interest issue, and make it clear that your editing will not be promotional, and will not be made on behalf of your business or other organisation.

If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. JamesBWatson (talk) 14:08, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Requested username:

Request reason:

I would like to create a page which relates to MPme, which is detailed on the Apsmart page on Wikipedia. However, I now understand that I can not post this as the company, which I did not realise before. I would very much like to change my user name and page to meeshwood, to use as my personal account, of which I intend to edit and contribute to other pages of a similar and mainly musical nature, including the addition of a nautral MPme info - non advertising page, which is linked to the Apsmart info page. Please let me know if this sounds viable to you. I'd love to contribute this info! Thanks so much, Michelle Wood

Decline reason:

Since several days have passed, and you haven't indicated that you are willing to avoid writing about your own organization, I'll decline this for now. If you check back here and you decide you do want an active account, even though you aren't writing about your own company, please feel free to make a second unblock request making that more clear. A username change will not absolve you of a conflict-of-interest. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 22:02, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Here are a few key questions:

You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to violate the three important principles above.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 22:54, 5 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
