Words like "prestigious" are an opinion; prestige is a matter of perception. Making specific mention of one group of the entire diverse population looks and feels out of place -- as if you have some motivation for pointing it out. Wikipedia's neutral point-of-view policy mentions placing undue weight on certain topics and issues, and in the broad topic of this particular school, mentioning a small aspect of student life that has no other significance than that is simply is a fact is peculiar enough for it to be removed. It is as significant as stating that the principal drives a Buick, or that some of the students bleach their hair, or dislike a rival school. There must be at least some notariety to a singled-out aspect for it to be worth mentioning, and this would need to be supported by some sort of verifiable source that highlights the notable nature of the aspect.
