How you can help

Hi there. Unfortunately, Wikipedia isn't really place to publish opinions, essays, or academic papers. As an encyclopedia, we strive for neutrality and verifiability. This means that your article is likely to be nominated for deletion. However, you can still possibly save it. I suggest that you rework it so that it more closely reflects the sources that you cited. That means that you can't have your own conclusion; you can only conclude with what others have said. You might seek feedback from one of the forums mentioned in Wikipedia:Questions, such as Wikipedia's Help Desk. They can probably give you better and quicker help than I can, but feel free to ask me any questions you may have. Just put {{reply to|NinjaRobotPirate}} in your message to get my attention. I edited the article to remove a bit of original research and fix the tone. Specifically, I removed the conclusion and rephrased a few sentences. The conclusion was inappropriate because it had no citations. I agree with your conclusion, but we are forbidden from drawing our own conclusions. If you'd like to publish your own conclusions, a blog or academic journal would be a more appropriate venue. If you can find a citation for the statements made in your conclusion, you can easily add it back again. However, Wikipedia articles generally should not be structured like an essay, and an obvious conclusion may be reworded by other contributors. I'm not sure this article will survive a deletion attempt, but I have marked it as "reviewed", as it does have enough citations to at least make a credible argument for notability. You might consider whether it's more appropriate to merge this article's content into a more general article. If you feel that it's a good standalone article, I would suggest that you contact WP:WikiProject Feminism for help in bringing it into better compliance with our guidelines and policies. Or you could write on my talk page, and I'll try to assist you with any questions or issues you may have. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 19:42, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
