- Hi, actually I can source these references. Apologies for not doing so, I'm just a beginner here and am still learning. Also I have noted that there are many such popular culture sections in Wikipedia, so I am surprised at your comments. However I accept my changes being reverted if they are breaking any rules. - Except you didn't source these references in your previous edits, which have been reverted by three people besides me, at Elizabeth Macquarie, Lachlan Macquarie, and William Bligh. And edit-warring (as you've done today) isn't exactly how you show acceptance of the reversion of your edits. We need sources demonstrating the significance of the items you've added (i.e. that someone cares outside of the context of the TV series), not just primary sources showing that an actor starred in a particular TV series. Given that no-one has even tried to add the content you have so far, I doubt they'll be forthcoming. Graham87 (talk) 13:56, 6 December 2023 (UTC)
- Your argument would hold more water if it were not for the fact that there are quite a lot of ín popular culture sections throughout Wikipedia, containing similar unsourced information. It seems that the standards you are holding me to are not being applied consistently to other editors.
- I did point out that I was a beginner here. Perhaps you don't understand that friendly guidance works much better than personal attacks.
- I had hoped that Wikipedia would be a more welcoming environment, but as it clearly isn't, I won't be making any further edits, so you need not be concerned. Nor will I be donating any more money. Ms McIntosh (talk) 23:02, 6 December 2023 (UTC)
