I see that you edited the article Umar. Wikipedia deems it necessary to cite the reliable sources for the facts presented. So, due to the absence of a citation, your edit was reverted. If you need any help, you can talk to me, or chat with us live here.—  Hamza  [ talk ] 05:42, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your reply. :) seriously. Infact, you are correct. And what you wrote was correct. Many books and sources mention that. And I am not disputing that either. But the policy of wikipedia is to keep the articles credible and reliable. So whenever you put on fact on the article, you've to put the citation too. You know this because most probably you're a Muslim. And I am a Muslim too. Most Muslims may know this. But whenever anyone unfamiliar with the topic reads the article, he/she may have doubts about the authenticity of the fact. So, it would be better if the fact had been properly cited.
Also, wikipedia only allows reliable sources. I mean, the sources which are notable like books etc. I'd recommend to search this on google books and just put up the reference with page number along with your edit. Like this link. Most probably you can use it as a reference.
Also try to avoid undo-ing the edits of other people without a plausible reason. This is something which is severely frowned upon here. You can put the aforementioned link as reference and most probably no one will revert your edit. I hope this will have explained your concerns. Feel free to talk back. You can also talk to people on the wikipedia chatroom, the link for which i mentioned in last message. There are very helping people there who can explain to you these things in detail. —  Hamza  [ talk ] 21:25, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Qwyrxian. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Ali without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Qwyrxian (talk) 06:39, 8 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did at Ali, you may be blocked from editing. Thank you. Qwyrxian (talk) 10:31, 8 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
