[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. However, I noticed that your username (Mthrfckngjap) may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because your name is offensive to some people. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account to use for editing. Thank you. The Interior (Talk) 18:24, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely because its username is a blatant violation of our username policy – it is obviously profane; threatens, attacks or impersonates another person; or suggests that your intention is not to contribute to the encyclopedia (see our blocking and username policies for more information).

We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, but users are not allowed to edit with inappropriate usernames, and trolling or other disruptive behavior is not tolerated. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. v/r - TP 02:03, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

Request reason:

i already made a request to change my username, yet i was blocked and my username wasn't changed. what is wrong?

Accept reason:

Allowing username change to requested username. Please put this request in at Wikipedia:Changing username as soon as possible to avoid re-blocking. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 13:23, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You chose a username that was already taken, and thus you could not have that name. I would have to say that your UNC request was a little odd - you don't see how your username could be offensive? Are you sure you're here to build an encyclopedia? (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 10:49, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
i just said (in the previous message, that i understand that my username may be offensive, although it is not clear and i'm japanese myself, so it's humorous, rather than offensive...anyway, i tried to change it but it wasn't. should i try again? As for your second question, I have spent hours in searching info for sports topics and i changed some inaccurate entries in some pages and yet they were deleted within 10 or so minutes. So how am I supposed not to help improving the encyclopedia??? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mthrfckngjap (talkcontribs)
You're blocked directly, so I have removed the IP unblock notice. I have gone through your contributions, and see a number of issues: have you ever seen the "SHOW PREVIEW" button? Can you have a look at WP:PREVIEW while I put together some info for you ... (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 12:34, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Probably...What about it?

Ok, please remember you need to sign all talkpage posts with ~~~~ Second, you're obviously not using the preview button when you make changes - you're making 4 edits in a row to articles to fix your previous edit. This is not appropriate, as per WP:PREVIEW. Second, check here to see a list of used userids. You can enter a search parameter if you wish. For example, if you search for Villager, you can see that a number of userid's already begin with that ... however, you can possibly find a combination you like. Let me know both a) if you understand the preview function, and b) if you find an appropriate username (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 12:46, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Mthrfckngjap (talk) 12:52, 19 September 2011 (UTC)1)I understand now, I just thought there would be no problem creating a 'false' article for a few seconds. But I understand what you're saying.2)I'll try to find another username.3)I uploadedsome images via common.wikimedia and they were deleted, just a few minutes after I put them in an article. What did I do wrong?[reply]

Thanks for the help

Oh, and I'm sorry if I'm not using the proper way of writing or talking here, I'm not fully aware of the rules (the Mthrfckngjap (talk) 12:56, 19 September 2011 (UTC) sign for example) Mthrfckngjap (talk) 12:56, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I cannot change my username because I'm blocked and cannot edit pages???? That's what I get as a reply when I try to change my username...Mthrfckngjap (talk) 13:03, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I would assume that the problems with your photos were that of WP:COPYRIGHT ... unless you personally took the photos (or have valid legal ownership/permission), then it would be illegal for you to upload them to Wikipedia. Pictures found on the internet are owned by someone else, and cannot be uploaded.
I want you find a new username, and let me know what it is. I will then help you to be unblocked in order to go and change your username. One step at a time please (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 13:05, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I think I found one that is not in use. Txingurri. Can I change it now? Mthrfckngjap (talk) 13:11, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I have unblocked you so that you can go to WP:CHU/S to request the username change. Do NOT edit articles until you have been advised that your change was successful (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 13:26, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Stefanos Kapinos has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:

All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Sir Sputnik (talk) 15:42, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Note: I have removed this proposed deletion tag as references are available for this subject, and have been added. The Interior (Talk) 15:53, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

My username is not changed yet (it has been over 3 hours since my request). Is it not accepted, or is it just taking time to change it? Sorry for any inconvenience. Mthrfckngjap (talk) 16:36, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, it could take hours, or even days. But they will get to it. Sorry for the holdup. The Interior (Talk) 16:39, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have prodded one of my favourite bureaucrats to see if they can handle it ... changing a username is not something that can be done by admins, and there's really no time limit (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 17:03, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well, thanks anyway. Mthrfckngjap (talk) 17:12, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
