[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Hinsdale, Illinois with this edit, has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. For constructive edits, always provide an informative edit summary so that editors have a brief description of your intentions. If you want to try out how editing Wikipedia works, please edit the sandbox page and not encyclopedia articles. If you have questions about editing Wikipedia, you might want to take a look at this tutorial. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. [edit]If you look at the article history, you can see that I reverted your edit to the article for two reasons:
- You didn't provide a reliable source for the information that you were providing.
- You placed the phone number in a section on notable residents.
In addition to those reasons, there's also the question of notability. Has there been any notoriety to these junk faxes? Was it in the news? A lot of things happen in Hinsdale but unless there's some reason that it's notable, it shouldn't be mentioned. After all, this is an encyclopedia and not an indiscriminate collection of information.
Since these edits to the Hinsdale article are your only edits after creating an account, it seems as though you have some sort of axe to grind. If you don't, great. But it sure seems that way given your edits. And again, Wikipedia is not the place for you to get up on a soap box. If you have any further questions, I'll be happy read them.
