Welcome students from Nanjing Normal University

[edit]

1, Hello. Are you a student at Nanjing Normal University? If you are I want to say hello.

2, My name is Anna. I live in Haikou, Hainan. I come from Canada.

3, I can help you if you need.

4, Don't worry. Be brave. You can write. No problem.

Some good things to help you:

1, Look at other articles. See how they organize it. Copy the style.
2, Use the information you get for your article, and write it in your words.
3, Don't use baike. It is not professionally written.
4, Put this at the end of the sentences or paragraphs to show where the information comes from:
<ref>example-website.com</ref>
5, Put this at the bottom of your article:
==References==
{{reflist}}

HAPPY HELP

Anna Frodesiak (talk) 02:59, 21 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Use Spaces
Spaces usually come after punctuation marks.
Instead of this:
  • I like bunnies(rabbits).They are not only cute,but friendly too.
Try this:
  • I like bunnies (rabbits). They are not only cute, but friendly too.

Protect Your Article
1. Putting lots and lots of references into your article protects it from being deleted.
2. Put references in your article like this example:
Rabbits are cute.<ref>http://www.about-rabbits.com</ref>
3. Add this to the bottom of the article:
==References==
{{reflist}}
4. Don't use Baidu.baike, Hudong, Tianya and sites that are not professionally written.
5. Write in your own words. Just the facts. Don't copy and paste.
6. Make your article style like other articles.

Hello, I saw that you wrote an article on Xuankongsi that was deleted. It was userfied. After checking further there is already an article on the topic at Hanging Temple, so I will turn your name into a redirect. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 12:27, 21 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Link

Link to your article when you communicate. Like this:

Come and see my new article. It's called [[Dumpling]].

your hanging temple article (User:Njnu-ban-xueshenghao/Xuankongsi)

[edit]

Der student, I looked at your article. It is now not in wikipedia, but in "your user space". But, the article already exited: Hanging Temple, and we can not have 2 articles on the same subject. However, I have changed the article a bit to help you see how to edit it;

  • I made a link by using [[ and ]].
  • I removed "spaces" at the beginning of the sentence. as it gives the box. Example:
with a space in the start

without a space in the start

  • I made a section by adding == at the beginning and end of a line

You can do this more in other articles to make the style better. I furthermore saw that the article was copied from somewhere (e.g. you still have "Editor this paragraph construction layoutHanging Temple from the ground about") and I think it was translated using a automatic translation. Please do not use automatic translation, and if you use text from another source (even translated!) it is often not allowed (except from zh.wikipedia.org)...

I hope this info helps. Because the article already existed, you have to choose another article and check (before you start!) if it exists already in english wikipedia. If you have questions, you can always ask here! If you have an idea for a new article, you can als first ask me here to discus! Good luck!L.tak (talk) 06:42, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Huayan Monastery, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Zzaffuto118 (talk) 05:29, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
