Amalgam Digital[edit]

Given the history of Amalgam Digital, the article will not be unprotected. If you wish to create a candidate article, you may do so in user space (I'd suggest User:Nancedw/Amalgam Digital as the page title). Then you can have it reviewed by multiple editors, and a determination can be made on whether it's a notable company and whether the article has sufficient reliable sources and a neutral tone. —C.Fred (talk) 23:37, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

To start with, post a message on my talk page. I can then route it along as need be. —C.Fred (talk) 15:08, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Regarding citing offline sources, you'll basically just set the reference up the same as an online source, except you won't be able to use the cite templates, which expect a URL. So, something like 'Author-Lastname, First. "Title of article." Book or magazine title. Date or issue of magazine. Page number(s).' The key is, is there enough information that we can track down the book or magazine and find where you got the info? As long as there is - and if you've quoted directly, you've given proper credit for whose words they are - that's the key for the citation. —C.Fred (talk) 21:58, 13 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • Re your comment on my talk page:
Why was this edited into my request for a page review?
I don't see where a deletion review has been requested for Amalgam Digital, and the IP's request turned out to be another user not identifying himself. It's just misthreaded, and I don't think it's worth rethreading it.
As for Amalgam Digital, I talked to the deleting admin, and the next step with the article is to request deletion review and get the new article instated via discussion there. —C.Fred (talk) 12:49, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
