Speedy deletion of Torpedo pass[edit]

A tag has been placed on Torpedo pass requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello and thank you for your note. I read the link you provided about the speedy deletion criteria, and I don't think that the torpedo pass article qualifies. Please let me know if you think differently. Thank you. Natural hat trick (talk) 05:38, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Another editor has added the "{{prod}}" template to the article Torpedo pass, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. You seem to have an interest in liver disease. Have you considered joining WP:MED and/or WP:GASTRO. The latter is more-or-less inactive. JFW | T@lk 07:46, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your note. I just read your article on Bartter. Very nice stuff. I am going to concentrate on hockey articles for now. Nice to talk to you. Natural hat trick (talk) 07:57, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Could I encourage you to add some reliable sources to your creations ischemic hepatitis and Hepatitis#Ischemic hepatitis. JFW | T@lk 09:53, 31 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

SOD[edit]

Hey NHT, hope you're well. Thanks for improving the ERCP and PEG pages. Have you considered joining WP:MED yet? I'm sure your obvious expertise will be an asset to our WikiProject.

Given your supposed background in digestive diseases, would you be interested in creating a stub/placeholder page for sphincter of Oddi dysfunction? I can never get my head around the different types, and the last paper I read about it gave me abdominal pain and jaundice. Cheers. JFW | T@lk 16:13, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sure I'll put SOD next on the list. Take care. Natural hat trick 04:22, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
