Request reason:

I'm often connected via a VPN through a private server machine at Softlayer's Dallas datacenter, which appears to be ip-range-blocked for one reason or another. I requested an unblock here, but was directed to use my account to instead request a IPBE for my user account, which is this account. Nephyrin (talk) 00:28, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Disabling due to lack of response. If you still require help, please post a new unblock template. Hersfold (t/a/c) 01:06, 15 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Is there some reason you need to be connected to this VPN in order to edit Wikipedia? Our policy states that IPBE should only be granted in extreme circumstances when the editor requesting it intends to use a proxy or proxy-like service such as a VPN. If you have an alternate means to access the site, I'd prefer you use that rather than requesting an IPBE. Hersfold (t/a/c) 01:06, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The block may be modified - Wikipedia:WikiProject on open proxies/Unblock - please try to edit.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 20:38, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
