Jihad
[edit]If you had actually looked at my edit before reverting immediately you would've seen that I was merging both versions. However, do not worry as I will do no more edits to this article and let other users argue with you. Thanks.Heraclius 03:19, 19 July 2005 (UTC)
- I looked at your edits. You were engaging in a form of sneaky reversion, deliberately only killing certain sections of the material you had previously deleted by reversion. Regardless, by Wikipedia policy "complex reverts" or "partial reverts" still count as reversion under reversion rules. Your claim that you were "merging" the two sections is pointless: you took the section and wiped out over half of it, despite the disparate size of the two versions. You also deleted sources from the article merely because you disagreed with them. This is not in keeping with proper NPOV policy and you know it.Ni-ju-Ichi 03:22, 19 July 2005 (UTC)
- I moved your comments to the talk:Jihad page for more convenience.Heraclius 03:23, 19 July 2005 (UTC)
- I didn't realize it disturbed you so much. I have moved them back.Heraclius 03:31, 19 July 2005 (UTC)
Vandalism on your user page
[edit]I noticed that a vandal anonymous IP address, likely IrishPunkTom or one of BrandonYusufToropov's cohorts (since you edited at Jihad) defaced your user page. I've fixed it.
You might consider putting some content up, even a brief statement might help. Take it easy.Existentializer 16:20, 25 July 2005 (UTC)
- This is clearly just Existentializer trying to cover up the fact that he was signed on as another sockpuppet account when he made the change to the user page... not the time discrepancy. A comparison of Existentializer and Ni-ju-Ichi's edit histories clearly prove that they are the same person (and further that they are both sockpuppets of a user who has already been banned on other sockpuppet accounts), making the exact same edits to a set of rather specific articles (suspiciously on Islam, vampires and video games, but basically nothing else except some initial prepatory edits to prime the puppet), including one that nobody else ever edited. I'm sorry if I deleted your comment when restoring mine. It is hard to keep track with the vandalism. gren 03:46, 27 July 2005 (UTC)
- I think it's safe to say that I disagree. He says "under attack" and "cult of phobia" which are not very diplomatic terms. If you read WP:NPA it shows that his comments don't really fit. The closest thing is calling FFI people phobic psychos which is group labelling and not wise but not not a personal atack of the type mentioned on the wikiepdia guidelines. Removing it will be considered vandalism by the admins... but I don't think you respect them much, but, you really don't have to. gren 03:55, 27 July 2005 (UTC)
- Interpretations, and ours differ. Showing dislike for an editor and calling what they post hate is not a personal attack in my opinion -- but I don't find any reason to debate this. gren 04:04, 27 July 2005 (UTC)
voting
[edit]you seem to share the opinion of User:Saduj al-Dahij. Still, I am doing my best to keep the vote dick-free. Have you considered actually contributing something useful to Wikipedia before you take it upon yourself to throw your (modest) weight around so that articles others have written be made to comply with your demands? This account has no edits to speak of, so I do not see why it should count as a vote. If you have another account with more edits, try using that. Otherwise, get to know WP before plunging into disputes. dab (ᛏ) 12:35, 29 July 2005 (UTC)
Block
[edit]You've been blocked indefinitely as a sock puppet of banned user Enviroknot. If this is wrong, you're welcome to e-mail me using the link on my user page, and I'll be happpy to discuss it with you. SlimVirgin (talk) 22:48, July 31, 2005 (UTC)
