I'm not sure, I would assume that it would follow the same syntax of an XfD, but maybe it requires an admin. Though the discussion seems to have taken a turn for the positive, so maybe it isn't truly necessary. I guess we'll have to see what Josh does... --—ΔαίδαλοςΣ 07:38, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

I'm glad that it ended when it did. What I saw when Josh started that discussion was that he was starting a forum on the trailer and the game's exclusivity: I already perceive that this discussion will go on and on without a resolution and nothing can be proven or achieved. That is why I did what I did. Jumping on him was hardly what I did, I made a response which he couldn't take, that was his problem, not mine. Wikipedia talk pages are not meant for that kind of discussion, it would be better if Josh joined an online forum like GameFAQS instead. The others have also abused the talk page for judging people, hardly a good notion. But it ended, I know where I did wrong, and I sure hope this would not repeat itself again. — Bluerで す。 22:51, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

The moment he told you to never respond to any discussion he started ever again was when I realized that he was here to gossip and didn't care about proffessionalism. Until that point I could've bought that he honestly misunderstood your post, but that cinched my opinion of him. He never had any intention of backing down nor giving you honest consideration. He felt attacked and he wanted revenge. Then he tried to tell you to go away and leave him alone FOREVAR! When that didn't work he tried to delete the discussion to hide his failure. When that didn't work he finally left without a word. Running away with his tail between his legs, if you will. Which is ironic, considering he left of his own accord, no one chased him away. Redirect creation

I recently noticed Wikipedia:Redirects_for_discussion/Log/2007_May_30#Basuter_sword_.E2.86.92_Final_Fantasy_weapons.23Buster_Sword, and I am a little distressed. First and least importantly, I had thought that it was customary in these sorts of things to have the common courtesy of notifying the creator of the deletion request. Perhaps I was wrong.

Secondly, I'm more concerned by your description of me, specifically: "Created by User:Gwern who has a history of trying to create redirects with every possible permutation of something that should be relatively simple. Now that I've found this out, my vote is speedily delete as nonsense."

I'm not sure what bothers me more about your statement, whether it's the implicit belief that my redirects constitute vandalism, or the belief that I make redirects not because they would fix redlinks and not because I happened to make spelling errors while searching, but just for the hell of it and out of a desire to make simple things complex. This is not the case. I search often in Wikipedia and through keyboard shortcuts, and I place a premium on speed over accuracy. It might have looked like a not particularly plausible transliteration to you, but it was actually just input entry. I would certainly appreciate you notifying me about deletion requests if in the future you should feel it necessary, and I would appreciate it even more if you would refrain from making unpleasant comments about me. --Gwern (contribs) 22:33 1 September 2007 (GMT)
