Unfortunately, however, a tag has been placed on "alex singh", requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you feel that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. {{{2}}} --SquidSK (1MC•log) 18:27, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

"alex singh" deletion
[edit]As the speedy delete and hangon messages note, administrators are not obliged to honor the hangon tag. In this case, the article appeared to clearly fall under speedy deletion criterion A7 and was deleted accordingly.
If you have reliable sources—of which blogs, forum postings, and Usenet messages do not qualify—list them here. If he has sufficient independent coverage to verify the assertions in the article, I'll restore it. —C.Fred (talk) 19:12, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Echoing here the comment I made at Talk:"alex singh":
- The very questionability of the existence of the individual is part of the reason for the deletion. The claim of being a Scientology operative was sufficient for me to adjudge it potentially defamatory in the absence of reliable sources. That was the impetus for the speedy deletion, above and beyond the normal non-notability of an individual.
- If you would like me to email the last saved version to you, and if you have registered your email on the site, please let me know. —C.Fred (talk) 19:23, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Yes please email it to me.
The references, URLs I supplied were both the persons own creation and the commentary of one of the more notable critics of scientology, not blogs nor usenet messages.
Perhaps you are a scientologist yourself?

- A person is not very likely to be a Scientologist if he thinks calling someone an agent for Scientology is "potentially defamatory." Just FYI. --Glenfarclas (talk) 21:15, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
