Your contributed article, Bāngāli BRAMHāN[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Bāngāli BRAMHāN. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Bengali Brahmins. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Bengali Brahmins - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. First Light (talk) 12:06, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The name of this article is Bengali Brahmins. All usages in the article should be Bengali Brahmins, not weirdly capitalized versions such as Bāngāli BRAMHāN. Please do not change this again. Read up on our Manual of Style. Thanks. Heiro 16:50, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I left you a message at Wikimedia Commons concerning the unnecessary text all over the image you have used in the template. Could you possible upload a version that does not have this? Heiro 17:02, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Bāngāli BRAMHāN should remain a redirect to Bengali Brahmins. Please do not reinsert material that is already at the actual article for this redirect for a spelling variation, as you did [1] and [2]. Especially one which uses out of sequence capitalization against our WP:MOS for no apparent reason. As you were already informed of earlier, above. Heiro 20:04, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop this [3], this material should not be exactly duplicated on two pages. You are strolling into WP:EDITWAR territory. Insert this material to this article again, and I take you to the 3RR admin board for it. Heiro 20:15, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I have taken this matter here Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Niel Mokerjee reported by User:Heironymous Rowe (Result: ) to discuss your edit warring. Heiro 20:36, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
With this [4] you have now went beyond edit warring and crossed the bright line 3RR with a 4th revert. Are you here merely to promote your Facebook group, which is the only use other than now Wikipedia for this strange spelling? Please read WP:What Wikipedia is not, you will probably soon have some spare time on your hands. Heiro 20:58, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Bāngāli BRAMHāN, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the article's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Since you have once again created this page, after it has been twice deleted, I have tagged it for deletion again. Please read our policies on WP:NOTABLE, WP:What Wikipedia is not and WP:RELIABLE. Heiro 20:18, 27 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Bangali Bramhan, you may be blocked from editing.

I see that you have been warned repeatedly before, and even blocked -- please stop making these unconstructive edits or you will be blocked for longer periods of time.

All information about the community belongs in the article Bengali Brahmins. The Facebook link and the promotional text do not belong in Wikipedia at all. bonadea contributions talk 21:36, 27 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
