Deletion discussion about The Xtreme Talent Search[edit]

Hello, Thecrossingtvseries,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether The Xtreme Talent Search should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Xtreme Talent Search .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Information icon Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to The Crossing (South African TV Series), without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. AussieLegend () 18:46, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at The Crossing (South African TV Series), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. AussieLegend () 18:47, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Undiscussed, unsourced move[edit]

I have reverted your move of The Crossing (South African TV series) to Obsession (TV Series). No sources have been provided that support the move of this article, nor have any been provided for the changes that you have been making to it. If you wish to move the article, sources will need to be provided that confirm the series has changed its name. Alternatively, you can open a move discussion on the article's talk page. As it stands the article is sadly lacking required sources for the content already present in the article. A move discussion is unlikely to be successful without providing more sources. Please also note that Obsession (TV Series) is incorrect capitalisation for the title name. Wikipedia uses sentence case, so the correct title would be Obsession (TV series). However, this is presently occupied so the correct location would actually be Obsession (South African TV series).

On a related note, you were warned nearly 9 months ago that your username may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it implies shared use. You seemed confused about this at the time and, although you requested a username change, you did not complete it. Your username implies a close relationship with the TV series. At best, this implies a conflict of interest. It also implies that it could be used by several people with a close relationship with the series, which is not permitted. Wikipedia usernames may only be used by an individual. It would probably be best if you requested a change to something that identifies individuality and does not imply a conflict of interest. --AussieLegend () 14:26, 4 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you do not actually own the copyright, the file may have to be nominated for deletion. Thank you. --AussieLegend () 17:20, 4 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The crossing[edit]

Many of the changes that you made to The Crossing (South African TV series) today have had to be reverted as they were not supported by citations from reliable sources. If you are going to make any changes you have to be sure to add sources supporting the change. Of particular note, imdb is not a reliable source and cannot be used to support claims. Nor can Wikipedia be used as a reference. --AussieLegend () 04:03, 6 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The file File:The Crossing TV Series (South Africa) Logo.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No longer useful as the article the file was used in, The Crossing (South African TV series), was deleted.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
