Sea of Japan
[edit]Hello, こんにちは. Please read Talk:Sea of Japan#Infobox moved to the Dispute Page regarding the Infobox. We already decided by discussion that the Infobox should be in the Sea of Japan page. Can you please move it back?... or start a new discussion?
By the way, can you join discussions further down the Talk:Sea of Japan#East Sea diambiguation page page whether East Sea should redirect to East Sea (disambiguation) or Sea of Japan page? Thanks.--Endroit 20:36, 6 February 2006 (UTC)
Emperor of Japan
[edit]Whatever the merits of the various arguments concerning the article "Emperor of Japan", your comment "Emperor of Japan is not your business" seems provocative and could easily inflame passions further. The Wikipedia is open to all to contribute, not only people who feel that the Emperor of Japan is "their business". Comments should reflect that spirit, even if you don't agree with changes made by a particular contributor. This is obviously a contentious issue and is best handled by discussion, not by shutting people out of the discussion. Bathrobe 00:43, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
- I have not ignored the Talk page, you'll see I have posted my references on the talk page. Also, Wikipedia is my busines. I'm curious as to whether you have the authority to tell people if editing on articles of Wikipedia is their business or not. Have a nice day!Deiaemeth 03:18, 16 February 2006 (UTC)
I understand your point. I have always felt that history in East Asia is a "battleground" between competing national viewpoints and ancient history is rewritten and interpreted to support modern national rivalries. Still, I felt that your single comment made in a moment of impatience will only cause them to close their minds against you, which is not what you want. Bathrobe 02:50, 17 February 2006 (UTC)
Hello Nobu Sho -- I've watched a number of reverts now over on the Yayoi page, and I was hoping to avoid a revert war by making an appeal over on the Talk page. Would you be so kind as to have a look and give us your views? Thank you, Eiríkr Útlendi 00:08, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
I'm offering to take on this mediation. Please note that I am not yet a member of the mediation committee and am under trial. If you are happy for me to mediate please email me using Subject:"East sea mediation", a summary of your view of the issue. MyNameIsNotBob 10:15, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
Japanese gardens
[edit]Hi Nobu Sho. I am wondering about the words "senzui" (or sansui) and "kare senzui" (or karesansui). What is the correct spelling of these words in English?
There is an article about Karesansui but the article for Sansui is about an electronics company. Is an article about "sansui" (the "mountain and lake garden") or is it spelt differently.
I am asking in order to correct mistakes in the Himeji Gardens, Adelaide article. Thanks! — Donama 02:24, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
- Also, what is 水墨山水画? (I see that 水 means water and 山 means mountain) — Donama 02:31, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
