metaltome.com[edit]

Your article failed to meet the criteria as listed at Wikipedia:Notability (web), and was therefore deleted. -- Longhair\talk 09:45, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And again. You need to say not why you think it's important, but specifically how it satisfies Wikipedia's Wikipedia:Notability (web) criteria. Beware of WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS, lest it be used to reinforce the deletion of your desired page. DMacks (talk) 10:36, 13 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Metaltome.com[edit]

A tag has been placed on Metaltome.com, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

Deletion[edit]

this page was deleted twice already for not stating the importance of the site.... why are the other 50 or so social networking sites more important? i stated the purpose of the site. i hope you actually read it this time instead of deleting it instantly. and now you say i am advertising. no more advertising then the other social networking sites. am i not allowed to state the features of the site? is that advertising? honestly i am starting to get pissed

The other 50 or so social networking sites are more important, or they have at least proved as much using our rules at WP:N. In addition, if you have anything to do with the site, then you cannot create the article, because you have a conflict of interest. Why not improve some of our metal-related articles instead?
