Hello, I'm DreamRimmer. An edit you recently made to Chakalaka seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DreamRimmer (talk) 17:12, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Washington West African Center", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it is the name of an organisation. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username by completing the form at Special:GlobalRenameRequest, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. Hello,
This account has been created by the executive assistant from the Washington West African Center. My name is Noelle Gregorini, and this is currently my project to have WAWAC show up on Wikipedia, so our account has been made and waiting to be auto-confirmed to be able to create our own article of our organization. If you would like to contact for more information, please contact go to www.wawac.org. Washington West African Center (talk) 00:55, 24 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, if you want to create an article on your own organisation, you will need to disclose your conflict of interest as a paid editor. See WP:PAID. You will also need to change your username so that it shows that you are editing as an individual rather than a shared account for the organisation. See the guidance linked above. Please be aware that Wikipedia articles must be written neutrally and that you must not use Wikipedia for advertising or promotion. If you need more guidance, the teahouse is a helpful venue.
