Daniel Leavitt

[edit]

I noticed that you contested the point of view for the Leavitt piece, arguing that I seem to be a proponent of Leavitt. If you'll check, you'll see that I added a great deal of information awhile back on Samuel Colt's patent application and early business career based on that application. Regards,MarmadukePercy (talk) 22:10, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

On doublechecking, you didn't say 'proponent,' you said 'surrogate,' which is essentially a synonym. I have no particular affinity for Daniel Leavitt, aside from having read a bit about him, but online sources are very thin. If you will look at my wikipedia contributions (almost 9,000), you'll see that I continually revisit my previous articles (often several times a week), to flesh out anything more that I find, adding additional footnotes wherever possible.Regards,MarmadukePercy (talk) 22:20, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This article has now been extensively revised, as well as carrying nearly 40 footnotes.Regards,MarmadukePercy (talk) 19:28, 29 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This article has now been through scores of revisions, including multiple footnotes, clean-ups, etc. I would appreciate your reviewing your tags and removing them if you find the content now acceptable. Thank you.MarmadukePercy (talk) 04:41, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your help. Regards,MarmadukePercy (talk) 06:37, 2 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Philip Dorling

[edit]

Another editor and I have added that he was an assistant to Laurie Brereton, and that he has been raided under similar circumstances before! Could you please check Philip Dorling and see if it still falls under WP:ONEEVENT? --Surturz (talk) 13:08, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Arilang1234 say Hi

[edit]

If you have read my user page then my political stand is very clear; I am pro Han Chinese, pro Sun Yetsen, anti-Manchu and anti-communist. I do not beat around the bush. Any civil and sensible discussion is welcome. Arilang talk 11:16, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That may be, but the article contained wording that wasn't NPOV. ηoian ‡orever ηew ‡rontiers 21:00, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

HelpPlease234

[edit]

Hi, I moved HelpPlease234 to User:HelpPlease234 because I think that's where you were intending to create the page. Regards, Matt (Talk) 07:58, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Permanent

[edit]

I humbly suggest to reconsider your vote again. The expansion of the "proof" page was an attempt to game the system. This expansion belongs to a general page Computation of the permanent of a matrix. Laudak (talk) 18:12, 19 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Daniel Leavitt

[edit]

Hey, just wanted to let you know I haven't forgotten about your suggestions for this entry. I've been off on a few other things, but am going to return to it this week, and work in what you suggested, as well as using a little sandpaper here and there. Take care and regards,MarmadukePercy (talk) 01:04, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to Biber salçası. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalised, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. Badagnani (talk) 05:08, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is not blank content. I did not replace the page. Do not abuse templates. ηoian ‡orever ηew ‡rontiers 05:11, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
[edit]

I see you removed a link to the online store selling that red pepper spread. The same editor restored links to that same online store (and a coupe of other links I found slightly less objectionable but still not meeting WP:EL) in this edit to another article. I'd appreciate it if you looked at those links and removed any you find inappropriate. DreamGuy (talk) 15:47, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
