Venetian glass

[edit]

Hello NoraCosmonaut - Thank you for your interest in Venetian glass. I noticed you put in a "What language is this?" tag. What are you looking for? The source says "blow pipe ( ferro sbuso i.e. holed iron rod in the historic papers )". It is what the Venetians called it long ago. If you believe the source misspelled the word, and it should be "ferro abuso", find me some proof that the ancient Venetians used that (probably current) spelling—then we can change it. The term "ferro sbuso" is used here and on page 4 of this fiction book here. Best source is here. I have removed the tag and added a footnote—"sbuso" is correct.TwoScars (talk) 14:38, 25 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
