Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Nrroberts, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Hi Nrroberts. I saw that you added a request at Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests about the Mucoromycota article, and it seems like you want it to be updated with the contents of your draft at User:Nrroberts/Mucoromycota. A page move isn't really the best way to go about this, since the existing article has significant contributions by other editors and we don't want to hide or erase that page history, which is what would probably happen if your draft was moved over it. Instead, just directly edit the current article (Mucoromycota) and insert your additions, add an appropriate edit summary, and then click "Publish changes" to save your edit. Hope that helps – let me know if you have questions! I have removed your move request in the meantime. DanCherek (talk) 14:32, 11 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
