The Elephant Pants

I chose to focus on the company The Elephant Pants because its a new company that sells a variety of different programs while promising to donate a portion of the proceeds to the International Elephant Foundation. The company has also been featured on Shark Tank. The company itself has a page description of their story. There are also various articles written by the Huffington Post, Inc., and Heavy along with many others. In the last six months, they claim that they have had over 200,000 visitors to their site. Another possible avenue of research into this company and links may be to more legal information about the reliability of their financial information and donations to the International Elephant Foundation. The International Elephant Foundation also might be a possible source of information. It would also be interesting to compare them to other clothing companies that donate a portion of their proceeds and look within the new culture of being considered a "charitable company" to actually profit more. Sharktank may also provide a possible source of information and a link to the specific episode they aired in. The website also has a link to their personal company blog where they talk about the story behind a particular pattern design for instance (knowing this is a blog possibly discredits it as a source, but if it's from the company directly then is it a possible information source?).
