Request reason:

I want to request that my account gets unblocked so that I can contribute to Wikipedia again. I was apparently blocked by Edgar181 because I included a link to my own blog on a page about a web browser feature (data uris). I did not know that this would be interpreted as a conflict of interest. I just wanted to point to the technical details in my blog post. My blog is not commercial and the linked post is exactly about the data uri topic. To avoid further suspicions of conflict of interest I will not link to my own blog or other websites that I maintain anymore.
