[edit]Hello, I'm Brianhe. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the page Acumatica, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. - Brianhe (talk) 04:31, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
- Using spammy external links on competitors' pages as a precedent doesn't really work. You should read the external links policy, especially the part about how blogs, user group sites, etc. don't belong here (that's under WP:ELNO). — Brianhe (talk) 05:05, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
- I added the "Welcome to Wikipedia" box above so you can learn the ropes a little. You are correct that Wikipedia is not a substitute for LinkedIn, and yes, conversations are usually kept on one person's talk page not split between two of them. — Brianhe (talk) 05:17, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks Brianhe! I'll take a look at it. Do you get a notification when I respond here on my talk page? — Ohio40 (talk) 05:21, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
- Yup. Next time I check Wikipedia, I receive any pending notifications, same as you will when you receive messages on your talk page or when someone mentions you in a talk page (if the mention is correctly formatted). Right at the moment I am active. — Brianhe (talk) 05:25, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
- Cool, thanks again Brianhe! — Ohio40 (talk) 05:27, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
- If you want to go deeper, I recommend Wikipedia: The Missing Manual. — Brianhe (talk) 05:36, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
