Notes[edit]

Hi, I have some notes for you:

  • Make sure that you have a lot of independent, reliable sources about the falls. Right now you have a primary source and what looks to be a self-published source about the falls. Self-published sources are typically not seen as reliable unless they're routinely cited as an authoritative, reliable source by other reliable sources, especially academic and scholarly sources. Local coverage tends to be greatly depreciated on Wikipedia because it's assumed that local papers will cover local landmarks and features, so what you want is coverage in scholarly/academic sources or national coverage. Travel guides are typically not usable since that's seen as a bit routine.
  • I'm not sure that this set of falls are independently notable of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, as much of the article is about the town as opposed to the falls itself. To show where this is a notable landmark, you will need to have independent, reliable sources. In other words, there needs to be more out there about it other than its name and location. You may want to just merge this into the main article on the town and work on expanding that article, as it's fairly slim.
  • This article uses a few different names, such as Chagrin Falls, Chagrin Falls waterfall, and Chagrin Water Falls. This should stick to one specific name.

Now this said, I do think that there's definite merit in covering the waterfalls in more depth, however offhand it looks like it should be in the main article on the town as opposed to its own article unless there is more sourcing out there.
