Archer7's revert to you at Asian fetish

[edit]

Hi, it's nice to see you've registered! I saw your recent comment at Talk:Asian fetish. About User:Archer7, please assume good faith about fellow contributors. That was the only edit he's made to this article. I've looked through his contributions; most of what he's doing is reverting vandalism, so he's probably on the Recent Changes patrol. People on RC Patrol have to work very quickly and sometimes make decisions too fast. I strongly doubt that he has any kind of "agenda" against you. That, and Archer is still relatively new here, so that might complicate things some more. (Most RC patrollers are admins who have been around for months, at least.) I've let him know about his mistake, so he will hopefully be more careful in the future. If you have any concerns about anything here, you can ask me on my talk page, and I'll see what I can do to help you out. --Idont Havaname 02:54, 13 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, and welcome to Wikipedia. I'd just like to apologise for the revert I made to the Asian fetish article. As User:Idont havaname says, I am relatively new and have only just joined the RC patrol, and we do have to work quickly. Unfortunately, I made a mistake with this article, and I hope that you will continue to contribute to Wikipedia. I'll definitely try to be more careful in the future! Thanks, Archer7 13:37, 13 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Spirited

[edit]

I like your spirited defense of sanity over on the Asian Talk page. Don't forget not to provide too much troll food, though.Sunray 16:16, 31 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. The article is taking a bizarre turn and it's pretty clear what these racists are trying to do to the article. It's unfortunate that even in a community-driven environment like Wikipedia, a few bad apples can dominate an article.OneViewHere 21:35, 31 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

In case you didn't know, there's a vote over at Talk:Asian fetish on whether to delete the physical anthropology sections added by our German visitor.--ThreeAnswers 07:19, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, OneViewHere. The Asian fetish article is at the center of another big edit war again, this time between Gnetwerker, who thinks that Asian fetish is defined as pornography involving Asian women, and me, who thinks that it is defined as men who are obsessed with Asian women. There's been a lot of controversy in the past, but this one is just plain ridiculous. In order to reach for NPOV, we really, desperately need some editors who are familiar with the various points of view on the subject as you are. Thanks in advance. The comment above grossly misrepresents my position. -- Gnetwerker 23:03, 3 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Ebensnitz.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ebensnitz.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:57, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
